Apple Vinegar is one of the special flavors for KitKat in 2009 in Japan. This is one of the strangest sounding flavors that I have ever heard of. I couldn’t imagine what the flavor would be like before trying it.
When you open it, it looks like like a normal KitKat. Also, there is a faint scent of apple. I did not smell any vinegar at all. The first bite is like a milk chocolate KitKat and gradually an apple flavor is revealed. The apple taste is not an overly sweetened flavor like it can be in some candies. I never tasted vinegar at all from the first bite to the last.
I would recommend this to anyone who likes apples and chocolate. Don’t be scared off be the word vinegar in the name of the product.
